First and Second Degree Testers

A long awaited goal for a group of students here at West America are coming upon their first peg of their martial arts journey. They’ve been training for many years to get to where they are. Come and support your fellow students in reaching this gigantic milestone! It’s also a great opportunity for the younger belts to see how we conduct our black belts tests and to see what’s in store for them in the future.

The dojo will not be hosting classes this day, but the doors will remain open starting at 4:00PM which is when the test will start. We expect the test to last 3-4 hours. The first half of the test will be their basic curriculum and the latter being kicking techniques, sparring, board breaking and philosophy.
